Sailingteam SPLIT2ND was founded in April 2009 and exists out of a group of enthusiastic and experienced sailors. Each of the teammembers has a strong background in regatta sailing, ranging from Olympic dinghy classes to international keel boat races. What we have in common is a strong drive to win. On the other hand we constantly strive to do so in a fun atmosphere. Sometimes challenging the etablishment.
The Boat
Currently we race on an Salona 42 ibc , called ‘PACHA’. A 12,8 meter long yacht, optimized for racing in the IRC-1 class. The Salona is a spectacular boat to sail, demanding constant attention from its crew.
What we do...
In 2010 we will be competing in several national regattas and one international regatta. Amongst them are the North Sea Regatta, the Delta Week, the Dutch Championships IRC, the Flevorace and the IRC internationals (Cowes, UK).  Team Pacha tijdens North Sea Regatta 2010
